I grew up in Little Falls, MN and I've been fishing these river systems long before I could drive a car. With my passion and knowledge of fly fishing paired with years of coaching hockey and teaching young Soldiers in the National Guard, I have come to enjoy guiding and teaching anglers to help them become successful fly anglers.
I have been fortunate enough to catch beautiful brown, rainbow, brook and cutthroat trout with the Rocky Mountains soaring above and landed several species of saltwater fish with the heat of the tropical sun on my back and a salty breeze in my face. But nothing compares to the often overlooked smallmouth bass! These aggressive carnivores live to smash flies on the surface and below!​
Our Fishing Destinations
Located in the heart of the Brainerd Lakes Area, we fish every mile of the Mississippi River from Little Falls up to Brainerd and the Crow Wing River from Motley down to its confluence with the Mississippi as well as a few other more remote rivers. Come join me for your next fly fishing adventure!
